Join the evolution - A mind-expanding proposition

I wanted to write a parable, maybe something Zen-like but without becoming too mystical or pretentious. Little did I know that a world was about to unfold before me richer and stranger than anything I might have imagined but also tied very firmly to reality. It began as a dream, quite literally. Or more accurately a series of dreams that played on in sequence, one from another like some TV drama that just begged to be shared. That's where it began, with what would eventually become The Sylissin Chronicles. Admittedly that was my apprenticeship. I could probably write them better now. But the abundant facts behind the fiction were all meticulously researched and the adventures that the characters find themselves in are strangely plausible if you dig deep enough. From then on that was my mantra. No matter how bizarre the tale the facts behind the fiction must always be irrefutable. So when AnnA slips backwards through time the logic of this is impeccable. When in Gloriana's Secrets Elizabeth I sails of on an epic adventure, with weapons produced my a mysterious inventor the historical accuracy behind all of this is so compelling that it might give historians pause for thought. The Transcendent plays with our grasp of reality. How would we separate truth from delusion in a world where people can mess with our thoughts and our memories? If it weren't for The Transcendent the trilogy that is The Sylissin Chronicles might never have been written, and yet the former was written much later... Or am I just trying to mislead you? Maybe after all there should be a non superimposed before the fiction in all of this…

Humankind evolved in a much simpler world. The instincts needed to survive where global population is soaring while climate change makes life ever more difficult are lacking. Evolution has stalled and the consequences will be severe.  A new perspective is required; new parables for the twenty-first century; a new evolution of thought.

Non-fiction. Biography

Anthropocentric - Regarding humans as a central element of the universe or interpreting reality exclusively in terms of human values and experiences.

Exocentric - An outsider view of reality in which humans are but part of a greater whole or viewing reality from the vantage point of an unrestrained perspective.

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face.     (1 Corinthians 13 - English Standard Version)

In reality we forever see only ourselves, and our world-view is skewed by this. This is anthropocentrism and through it we believe that as a species we are both all-important and invunerable. Here we seek to make the journey away from this a painless and entertaining one and so it becomes necessary to suspend disbelief before moving on.

We would like to introduce humans to the reality of their existence. For this some fiction is required. Yet behind this lies a weath of meticulously researched fact. What if we were offered a glimpse of ourselves from an external perspective? What if we were given the gift of exocentrism? This is the gift we want to pass on to you. Yet it is one that ultimately you must learn to use for yourself. If this doesn't sound too daunting, then read on.

Fact-Filled Fiction

Welcome to the domain of the prelerah, introducing a new mythology from which our world view can be measured and found wanting. It began with The Sylissin Chronicles but then soon expanded into many other very different adventures.
